Noura Wahby
Noura Wahby is an Assistant Professor at the Public Policy and Administration Department, the American University in Cairo. She is co-editor-in-chief of the online urban platform and magazine "Arab Urbanism.” Previously she was an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Geography at the University of Cambridge. Her doctoral research at Cambridge’s Centre of Development Studies focused on the political economy of urban development and urban waterscapes in Egypt. While working with the Cambridge Centre of Smart Infrastructure, her research focused on citizen engagement and urban digital transformation in the UK. Her research interests include political economy, informality, infrastructure, and political geography.
